What if I send crypto to the wrong address?

A send you approve with your passkey can’t be undone, by you or by Swaps. If you know who owns the address, ask them to send it back. Check every address before you approve.
What you can still do
- To an exchange: contact the exchange’s support with the transaction from View transaction.
- To someone you know: ask them to send it back.
- To your own deposit address, on the wrong network: recovery may run automatically; see receiving money.
Before your next send
- Paste the address; don’t type it. Check the first and last characters.
- Match the network: a Tempo address takes Tempo only.
- Check an address before you send to someone new.
