Questions.

Can Swaps access my money?

No. The wallet is non-custodial. The key lives in your device passkey, never on Swaps servers, so Swaps cannot sign a wallet send for you. Access through Swaps, provider routes and token transfers may still be restricted.

Do I need a seed phrase?

No. A passkey secures the wallet with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your device PIN. You approve every send with it.

What if I lose my phone?

A synced passkey may be available on a replacement device through your credential provider; availability depends on your settings and access to that account. If no usable passkey or synced copy remains, Swaps cannot recover the wallet. Check your credential provider’s supported sync and recovery options.

What does it cost?

No Swaps fee to hold a balance or to receive and send on Tempo. Tempo gas is about $0.03 per transfer and can vary. Sending to another network carries a 0.15% Swaps fee. Sending to your own bank carries a 1% Swaps fee. Provider and network costs are shown before you approve too.

Do I need to verify my identity?

Bank details and sending to your own bank need a profile verified with Bridge, the provider for supported bank services. Each bank currency unlocks on its own verification.

Does it work outside Swaps?

Your passkey is bound to swaps.app, so the wallet signs only on Swaps. You can still receive from and send to other wallets and exchanges on the routes shown in the wallet.
