Is it custodial — can Swaps access my money?

No. The Swaps Wallet is non-custodial. The spending key lives in your device passkey, never on Swaps servers. Swaps stores only your public address and metadata and can never move, freeze or recover your funds.

Do I need a seed phrase?

No. Your wallet is secured by your device passkey using Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your device PIN. There is no seed phrase to write down or lose. Each transaction is signed with the passkey.

What is in my balance?

Your balance is shown as one USD figure — your dollars. Under the hood it is held in USD-pegged stablecoins on Tempo, so you never have to think about which coin you hold or pick between them.

Do I need to verify my identity (KYC)?

No Swaps KYC is required for wallet-only self-custody on Tempo. Provider verification may apply for non-Wallet provider services such as fiat buy/sell, cross-network routes, Payment Links, Pay Invoice, or Payroll.

Can I pay invoices with it?

Yes. You can pay any Swaps Payment Link directly from your wallet balance. You open the link, choose Pay with Swaps Wallet, confirm with Face ID, and the payment settles on Tempo.

Do I need a company for U.S. account details?

No. An eligible individual can start with KYC; business mode is an expansion path.

Who settles the money for my account details?

Bridge is the provider-side source of truth. Swaps shows evidence and does not custody funds.

Is my account already a shared team workspace?

The first release is holder-scoped: one verified individual or business payer controls the account. Shared roles and delegated operators require a separate authorization rollout.

Can an individual use Swaps account details?

Yes, where supported. Individuals complete Bridge KYC; businesses complete Bridge KYB. Availability depends on the holder, country, currency, payment rail, destination, and provider controls.

Are Swaps account details a bank account?

No. Bridge issues the provider-side virtual account details. Swaps does not issue a bank account or custody fiat or crypto.

Are the account details really in my name?

USD virtual accounts and MXN CLABE details are issued in your name by Bridge's banking partners. EUR SEPA IBANs are held by Bridge's EEA entity, not the individual holder's name, by design of the SEPA rail.

The Swaps Wallet is a non-custodial, passkey-secured wallet for USD stablecoins on the Tempo network. You create it inside the Swaps dashboard with Face ID, and you alone hold the spending key — Swaps stores only your public address and metadata and can never move, freeze or recover your funds. There is no seed phrase to write down or lose: every transaction is signed with your device passkey using Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your device PIN.

USD balance on Tempo, with supported routes

The wallet holds USD-pegged stablecoins on Tempo and shows them as one dollar balance. Direct Tempo transfers use your static Tempo wallet address. For supported cross-network Receive, Swaps creates a network-specific, amount-bound deposit address for the selected asset, network and amount. Supported cross-network Send routes are shown in the wallet before confirmation.

Non-custodial, secured by a passkey — no seed phrase

Non-custodial means the key that moves your money lives in your device passkey, never on Swaps servers. Because Swaps never controls the funds, no Swaps identity verification (KYC) is required to hold, send, or receive supported stablecoins on Tempo. Passkeys sync across your devices through iCloud Keychain or Google Password Manager, so a new phone keeps access. If you lose access to every device that holds the passkey, the wallet cannot be recovered, because Swaps has no copy of the key — keep passkey sync on.

How it works

Create your wallet with Face ID — open the wallet in the Swaps dashboard and create it with your device passkey. No seed phrase to write down or lose.
Receive or add funds — use your static Tempo address for direct Tempo transfers, or create a network-specific deposit address for supported external wallets and exchanges.
Send on supported routes — move USD on Tempo or supported cross-network routes, signed with Face ID, with all fees shown before confirmation.
Pay Swaps Payment Links from your balance — open a Swaps Payment Link, choose Pay with Swaps Wallet, and confirm with Face ID to settle from your balance.

Pay invoices with your wallet

You can pay any Swaps Payment Link directly from your wallet balance. Open the link, choose Pay with Swaps Wallet, confirm with Face ID, and the payment settles on Tempo. The wallet is live for all users with a Beta badge.

Fees and supported networks

There is no Swaps fee for holding your wallet balance or for direct Tempo receive/send. Tempo gas is about $0.03 per transfer and is paid in a stablecoin. Supported cross-network Send includes a disclosed Swaps fee, currently 15 bps, plus network and provider costs shown before approval. Supported assets and networks are only those shown in the wallet.

U.S. account details, in your name

Verified holders can add reusable deposit details alongside the wallet: USD ACH/wire and MXN CLABE details are issued in your name; EUR SEPA IBANs are held by Bridge's EEA entity, not the individual holder's name, by design of the SEPA rail. Funds settle as digital dollars in your wallet. Individuals complete Bridge KYC; businesses complete Bridge KYB. Powered by Bridge; availability depends on holder, country, currency, rail, destination, and provider controls.

What this is not

Swaps does not issue a bank account, does not custody fiat or crypto, does not guarantee approval, and does not promise every country and rail. Bridge is the regulated provider-side source of truth.
