What if my customer pays the wrong amount?

Crypto processingMerchants and payers·Where enabled·Updated

If less arrives, the payment shows Underpaid: your customer should follow the current payment instructions to complete it. If more arrives, you’re paid in full and support reviews whether the extra can be safely returned.

Too little

While the request remains active, follow its instructions to top up the same address, coin and network. Some payment contracts cannot release or return a balance below their threshold; contact support before sending more after expiry or cancellation.

Too much

The payment shows Overpaid and you receive the full invoice. The extra reaches the Swaps fee wallet after release. Support must verify its source and a safe return destination before any manual return; network fees may apply. Your customer contacts support to claim it.

After you cancelled

A transfer after cancellation needs a support review. A return depends on the route and contract; it may be unavailable.

Wrong coin or network

Another network or an unsupported coin may be unrecoverable. That is why the payment page names the one coin and network to use.
