Payroll help
Pay your team from your own funds. Each person adds their own payout details; Swaps executes the run you approve.
Top questions.
- How do my people add their payout details? Each person gets a private link. They choose a bank account, or a USDC wallet where enabled, and enter their details. They don’t need a Swaps account. A link expires after 14 days.
- How do I fund a pay run?Approve the run, then send the exact amount shown, from your own funds, with the reference exactly as written. One funding covers the whole run. Payouts start only when you execute.
- I funded a pay run. Why isn’t it detected yet?Detection can lag the real money by about five minutes. If it takes longer, check you sent the exact amount with the exact reference. Don’t resend the full amount.
Quick answers
Short answers.
Does Swaps calculate taxes or issue payslips?
No. Payroll is execution only. Your company, payroll system, accountant or employer of record stays responsible for calculations, taxes, filings and payslips.
Can I pay people with money from my clients?
Not through payroll. Payroll pays your people from your own funds. Collect from clients first with payment links or invoices.
What happens if one payout fails?
Every payout has its own status, and each row shows what happened. Check the row and contact support before you send a replacement payment.
