Account & verification help
Verification depends on your product, provider and route; later checks may apply. Manage your sign-in and data here.
Top questions.
- When does Swaps ask me to verify?Direct wallet software does not require an identity-document upload. Verification for payment links, crypto processing and provider routes depends on the product, account, location and risk checks. Bank services require verification with the applicable provider; additional checks may apply later.
- How long does verification take? The individual identity check takes about 2–3 minutes on Bridge’s page. Review can take longer; your status shows it until Bridge decides.
- How do I delete my account or export my data?Go to Account › Settings › Export or delete, and choose Request account deletion or Export my data. It opens an email to legal@swaps.app. We respond within applicable legal deadlines, normally one calendar month under GDPR, with any lawful extension explained. Identity verification may be needed; some records may be lawfully retained.
Quick answers
Short answers.
Individual or business: which do I choose?
Individual for freelance and personal work; Business for a company you invoice for. Bridge verifies you as one or the other.
Do I need a company for US account details?
No. An eligible individual can start with an identity check. A business account is an option, not a requirement.
What if Bridge rejects my verification?
Your status shows the reasons Bridge gave and a way to review them. Your wallet keeps working, and crypto processing needs no bank account.
