How does the risk score work?
Category: Security & Trust
Answer
The Swaps risk score is a 0-100 indicator built from available wallet and transaction signals. Higher scores mean stronger risk signals were found. Inputs can include: - Sanctions and watchlist matches. - Scam, phishing, stolen-funds, or drainer labels. - Mixer or high-risk service exposure. - Counterparty patterns and fund-flow signals. - Contract or address behavior visible on-chain. The score is a heuristic indicator, not a guarantee.
A low score does not prove an address is safe, and a high score does not prove criminal activity. It tells you that the available data deserves more or less caution. When the stakes are high, read the flags behind the score and verify the destination through another trusted channel before sending.
About this answer
Swaps is a comparison and routing product for crypto on/off-ramp providers. Every quote shown is live, every receive amount is the actual amount your wallet (or bank) will get, and every corridor is filtered for whether it can actually complete in your specific country with your specific payment method.
