Question 1

How do token swaps work on Swaps?

Accepted Answer

Choose two tokens on the same network and enter an amount. Swaps shows a live quote from OKX DEX, a DEX aggregator. To swap, sign in, connect your wallet and approve the transaction there.

Question 2

What tokens and chains are supported for swaps?

Accepted Answer

Tokens on EVM networks such as Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain and Arbitrum, as long as both tokens are on the same network. Cross-chain swaps and coins outside EVM networks, such as native Bitcoin, Solana or XRP, are not supported.

Question 3

Are swaps non-custodial?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You approve each step in your own wallet, and Swaps does not hold your wallet keys.

Question 4

What does it cost to swap?

Accepted Answer

The quote includes a 1% Swaps fee, taken from the amount you swap, and shows the estimated network gas for the network you swap on. You see both before you approve the swap in your wallet.

Question 5

Why swap on-chain instead of buying with fiat?

Accepted Answer

When you already hold a token and want another, an on-chain swap skips the fiat onramp: no bank hours and no card processing. Swaps asks you to sign in, but a swap needs no ID check.

Question 6

How is slippage handled?

Accepted Answer

Each route shows the expected output and a configurable slippage tolerance. The trade reverts on-chain if the price moves more than your tolerance, so you never settle below the quoted floor.
